1. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of the Column Groups for monday.com app (“the App”) provided by Asplund Software AB (“Asplund Software”, “we”, “us”).

By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Relationship with monday.com

The App is a third-party application and is not owned or operated by monday.com. Your use of monday.com is governed by your agreements with monday.com. These Terms only apply to your use of the App.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App within your monday.com account for your internal business purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code
  • Use the App to build a competing product
  • Misuse the App in a way that harms Asplund Software, monday.com, or other users

4. Data handling and GDPR

The App runs in your browser and interacts directly with monday.com's APIs. All monday.com board and item data stays within your monday.com account and your browser session.

Asplund Software does not receive, store, or process your monday.com board or item data.

The only personal data we receive from monday.com is limited installation metadata (such as admin name, admin email, and account name). For this installation metadata, Asplund Software acts as an independent data controller under GDPR. Details of this processing, including legal bases and your rights, are described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Communication with administrators

By installing the App, you acknowledge that we may occasionally contact the admin user associated with the installation to:

  • Provide important updates or security notices
  • Inform you about new or improved features
  • Request optional feedback

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by emailing support@asplundsoftware.com. We may still send messages that are strictly necessary for the safe and lawful operation of the App.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the App functional and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, update, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, for example to improve performance or comply with legal or marketplace requirements.

7. Fees and billing

If the App is offered as a paid product, pricing and billing terms will be presented in the monday.com marketplace or another agreed channel. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to those fees and billing terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asplund Software disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asplund Software will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by your organisation for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if the App is provided free of charge, to EUR 100).

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from monday.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the App.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version is available at this URL, with the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to inform relevant contacts (for example, via email or through monday.com where appropriate).
